چکیده
Single-input single-output (SISO), systems with zeros interlacing poles (ZIP) have been extensively studied in the literature and received interest widely. However, ZIP property for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO), has not pursued sufficiently. In this article, we pursue MIMO link to strict passivity. For class of that admit a symmetric state-space realization, which SISO case is equivalent ZIP, obtain sufficient conditions under too ZIP. We also present new results context “spectral-zero” system, notion plays key role many optimal control estimation problems. formulate spectral-zeros system are real, further guarantee system-zeros, spectral-zeros, system-poles all interlaced systems.

interlacing Properties of the Zeros of the Error Functions
Let (u&L1 , +, and C,!J be given functions in C(i), where 1 is some fixed Gnitc interval, and let do be a finite nonatomic strictly positive measure on .L For p E [I, co], we denote by E,(#) and E,(G) the error functions in the best P-approximation to (band #, respectively, from [ul ,...+,I (--spanjul ,...,&]). For p < CO, the D-approximation is taken with respect to the measure da, For p = co,...

L (↵) n (x) for arbitrary real ↵. Such results are well-known in the case ↵ > 1. In the case 2 < ↵ < 1, we use a mixed 3-term recurrence relation to show, for example, that, apart from a single value of ↵, the (all real) zeros of (x + ↵ + 1)L n (x) interlace with those of xL n (x). By studying the changes in interlacing that occur when ↵ decreases through the negative integer values 1, 2, . . ....
متن کاملControllable and Uncontrollable Poles and Zeros of nD Systems
We use the behavioural approach to de®ne and characterize control-lable and uncontrollable poles and zeros of multidimensional (nD) linear systems. We show a strong relationship between controllable poles and zeros and properties of the transfer function matrix, and we give characterizations of uncontrollable poles and zeros, in particular demonstrating that these have an input decoupling prope...
متن کاملAchievable performance of multivariable systems with unstable zeros and poles
This paper examines the fundamental limitations imposed by unstable (right half plane; RHP) zeros and poles in multivariable feedback systems. We generalize previously known controller-independent lower bounds on the H1norm of closed-loop transfer functions WXV , where X is input or output sensitivity or complementary sensitivity. The weights W and V may be unstable and non-minimum phase and ma...
متن کاملPoles and zeros at infinity of linear time-varying systems
The notions of poles and zeros at infinity and their relations are extended to the case of linear continuous time-varying systems. This study is based on the notion of a “newborn system” which is, in a mathematical point of view, a graded module extension over the noncommutative ring of differential operators. It is proved to be a relevant generalization to the time-varying case of the equivale...
